We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a retail or luxury business environment.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and supporting management with key financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (sales, expenses, inventory)

• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements

• Manage petty cash, invoices, payments, and reconciliations

• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and bank transactions

• Ensure compliance with VAT and other UAE financial regulations

• Assist with monthly closings and audits

• Coordinate with external auditors and management as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE (retail sector preferred)

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho) and MS Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines

• Previous experience in luxury retail, jewelry, or fashion

• Knowledge of inventory and POS system integration with accounts

• Familiarity with UAE tax laws and financial reporting standards
