Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising Accounting Operations: Managing the entire accounting cycle, including recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial reports, statements, and forecasts to provide insights to senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and monitoring budgets, conducting financial forecasting, and providing strategic financial guidance.
- Compliance and Internal Controls: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, developing and implementing internal controls, and coordinating with external auditors.
- Team Leadership and Development: Managing and mentoring the accounting team, providing guidance, and fostering professional development.
- Strategic Financial Input: Providing financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Tax and Zakat Compliance: Managing tax and zakat reporting requirements.
المهارات
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, etc.).
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in the contracting field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to lead a team, explain complex financial information, and collaborate effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards, including those specific to Saudi Arabia (SOCPA) and international standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting systems and software: Familiarity with relevant software and tools for financial management.
