Position Summary

The Accountant role assists the Plant controller to oversees a manufacturing facility's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. They are responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing the plant's financial performance, as well as providing recommendations for financial planning. They also ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist the plant controller in doing:

• Develop budget and forecast together with the Operation team to establish and maintain the standard cost and ensure all financial reports are accurate and realistic.
• Developing, maintaining, and reporting the plant's financial performance correctly and timely.
• Monitor and analyze plant operations and process performance and provide recommendations, input or feedback for operations related to effectiveness and efficiency in the Plant.
• Ensuring financial reports comply with accounting standards and are accurate.
• Collaborating with other departments to minimize production costs and maximize profits.
• Responsible for managing the plant's inventory and fixed asset (Plant)

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• at least 2-3 years of experience in a financial position (Accounting staff)
• 2+ years of experience in a plant/factory industry.
• Strong user of Microsoft Excel
• Ideal candidate attributes include the ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, quick learner, excellent communication skills and good team member
