Looking for a Group Financial Analyst who will analyse financial data, support in building financial models, and provide recommendations to management to enhance the Group's financial performance. This role is key in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, understanding business drivers, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decisions.

Description

Financial Planning & Analytics

Develop and manage financial models supporting short- and long-term financial planningPerform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business needs and provide insights to senior managementCollaborate with finance managers to prepare budgets for group entities accurately and on timeRun GAP analysis to maintain budget standards and process revisions

Financial Reporting

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for key balance sheet and income statement accounts, including journal entries and reconciliationsParticipate in new projects through financial simulations and business plan preparationsProvide analysis and recommendations on annual / revised budgets, challenge assumptions, and propose revisionsPrepare business performance presentations, quarterly finance board decks, and coordinate monthly business unit reviewsOversee brand monthly reporting

Controlling & Compliance

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial and tax regulationsMaintain accuracy in reporting and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirementsPrepare and file tax returns, registrations, and other tax-related matters across all group entitiesEnsure timely and complete financial reporting to authorities and banks

Audit Preparation

Work with external auditors on annual statutory audits and financial statement preparationEnsure sales audit accuracy in line with regulatory and leasing requirementsEnsure audited financials meet regulatory standards for all entities, including Kuwait

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldMinimum 4 years' experience in finance or accountingBackground from FMCG, food and beverage or hospitality is mandatoryHigh acumen of financial and accounting standards with ability to interpret statutory auditsStrong interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skillsProficiency in Microsoft Power BI and MS Excel
