• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for senior management.
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, providing insights and forecasts to enhance decision-making.
• Foster and lead a high-performing accounting team through mentorship and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee all tax-related matters.
• Review financial transactions, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial insights into operational strategies.
• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, proposing strategies to optimise financial performance.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure financial integrity and security.
• Represent the finance department in meetings with stakeholders, articulating financial goals and strategies.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• A proactive attitude towards embracing change and implementing innovative financial solutions.
• Experience in the waste management or environmental sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
