We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with strong HR knowledge to join our growing Real Estate business in Oman. This hybrid role requires a candidate who is proficient in managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting HR functions such as payroll, employee documentation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Omani regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Manage VAT filing, tax compliance, and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records for real estate project costs, investments, and returns.
Human Resources (HR):
- Process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain employee records including contracts, attendance, leaves, and benefits.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Omani labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support employee relations, performance reviews, and training coordination.
