We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant & Admin Assistant to join our team. This role combines accounting, administrative, and HR support responsibilities, helping in the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate should have a solid accounting background and a willingness to handle both accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Accounting:
• preparing and filing VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Support the auditor for proper bookkeeping and auditing.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements, receivables and payables.
2. Client Relationship:
• Support contract management by maintaining updated records of client files.
• Assist in timely billing and proper follow ups.
• Manage and update customer portals as required.
3. Office Administration:
• Support the Administrator in general office operations, supplies, and maintenance to ensure a smooth working environment.
• Assist in renewals and other documentations.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
4. HR:
• Support HR functions including employee documentation, leave records, and basic HR coordination.
• Assist in maintaining updated employee files and records.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE, with a strong accounting background.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong Communication skills and ability to maintain client and team relationships.
• Eagerness to learn new systems and processes.
• Proficiency in English, Arabic is an Advantage
Company will provide Visa as per the UAE law.
