Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all financial operations at Sparkd-EV. The ideal candidate will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires strong leadership, accuracy, and an in-depth understanding of the automotive trade and import industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, VAT, and relevant regulatory reporting
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
• Supervise and develop the accounting team; assign tasks and review deliverables
• Handle financial audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for financial planning and cost alignment
• Maintain accurate records of imports, customs duties, and asset capitalization
• Generate financial reports for management and investors
• Implement internal controls and risk management policies
• Assist in ERP (Odoo/Microsoft Dynamics) system integration and optimization

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA is a plus)
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CMA, or equivalent is preferred
• At least 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Odoo, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
• Experience in the automotive or import/export sector is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English
