Job Opening: Saudi National – Senior Accountant (VAT, Zakat, Projects & Financials)

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

First Refinery Solutions LLC (Refsol1) is seeking a Saudi National Senior Accountant with strong experience in VAT, Zakat, and project accounting. 

This position plays a vital role in financial planning, regulatory compliance, and supporting major industrial service operations across KSA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with ZATCA guidelines.
• Prepare and file Zakat returns and coordinate with external auditors/tax advisors.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and conduct expense analysis.
• Track and report project-wise costs and compare with actuals.
• Ensure accurate and compliant financial documentation for audits and tenders.
• Work with accounting platforms such as Odoo and Zoho.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong experience in Saudi VAT and Zakat submission processes.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo or Zoho.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Priority will be given to candidates with experience in industrial environments such as SABIC, ARAMCO, or related plants.
