Job Title: Accountant – Marble & Stone Industry

About South Stone Marble LLC:
South Stone Marble LLC is a growing company in the UAE specializing in the trading, fabrication, and installation of marble and natural stone products. We are currently looking for a skilled Accountant who is well-versed in handling accounts within the marble industry and is familiar with Zoho Books for quotations, invoices, and financial records.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: AED 2,000 to 4,000 per month (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Zoho Accounting:


Create and manage quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and sales orders using Zoho Books.


Maintain accurate customer and vendor records and ensure timely updates in the system.


Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up for collections.


General Accounting Tasks:


Record all day-to-day financial transactions (expenses, sales, purchases).


Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow reports.


Prepare monthly VAT filings and assist with audit and compliance documents.


Marble Industry-Specific Accounting:


Track inventory of marble slabs, tiles, and accessories.


Calculate fabrication and installation costs for each project.


Coordinate with the operations team for job costing and margin tracking.


Vendor & Supplier Coordination:


Reconcile supplier accounts and ensure timely payments.


Cross-check purchase invoices against delivery and purchase orders.


Reporting:


Generate project profitability reports, P&L statements, and monthly summaries.


Highlight financial discrepancies or potential cost savings.


Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance


Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (preferably in marble, construction, or related industries)


Proficiency in Zoho Books or Zoho One is mandatory


Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations


Good command of English and basic Excel/financial tools


Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects/accounts


Preferred:
Experience in project billing and cost tracking in marble or interior works


Understanding of BOQs, site coordination, and delivery-based invoicing
