JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Employment: Full Time
Job Description
- Prepare monthly cost of sales figures by analyzing material and direct expenses.
- Assist the costing section head in preparing monthly journal entries for cost of sales.
- Maintain weighted average cost inventory system and follow established valuation method.
- Assist in the quarterly and year-end physical inventory process.
- Review and audit the costing system including costs for purchased material inventory.
- Prepare report for costing section head and recommend changes.
- Review costing of all inventory items.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using PC and GP systems.
- Analyze inventory to ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
- Analyze and review inventory costing, verify reasonableness of standard and weighted average cost.
- Actively involved in implementation of company's inventory cycle count program.
- Item pricing with receiving documents.
- Allocate the landed cost which relates to shipment.
- Assist in the closing of the financial statements.
- Review of work orders for accuracy and participate in implementing the company's inventory cycle count being an essential link between the operation and accounting.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good report writing skills.
- People management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good command of English.
Technical Skills
- 2-5 years of experience in the finance or accounting field.
- Knowledge in cost management concepts and terminology.
- Experienced in budget development and implementation.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Good knowledge about International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
