Job Title: Finance and Accountant
Location: Dubai

Job Summary:
GSSTech Group is seeking a meticulous and driven Finance and Accountant to manage financial records and ensure full compliance with accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance functions, with a solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and insights into financial performance.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and ensure that records are accurate and reconciled to the general ledger.
- Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
- Prepare and coordinate tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Provide financial insights to management to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices within the industry.
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff as required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the UAE banking or finance sector.
- Familiarity with IFRS or GAAP reporting standards.
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting tools.
