We are seeking experienced Cost Accountant with a proven track record in the UAE's Construction industry. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on project costs to ensure accurate financial management and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Cost Allocation Review

o Review and verify the accuracy of cost allocations for each construction project to ensure correct recording and reporting.

2. Direct Cost Monitoring

o Monitor and analyze direct material costs, ensuring correct supplier and sub-contractors pricing and tracking cost fluctuations.

3. Supplier and Subcontractors Cost Comparisons

o Verifying cost comparisons between suppliers to identify savings opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.

4. Reporting and Variance Analysis

o Prepare cost reports and perform variance analyses to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs and recommend corrective actions.

5. Budget Setting and Monitoring

o Assist in developing project budgets and continuously monitor actual spending versus budgeted figures.

6. Compliance and Standards

o Ensure all cost accounting activities comply with company policies, financial controls, and relevant accounting standards.
