The Accountant position in Al Kuwait, Kuwait, offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team in the motor vehicle passenger transport industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
2. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
4. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
7. Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
8. Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
9. Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
8. Professional certification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is a plus.
9. Experience in the transport industry is preferred.
