We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee revenue transactions, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and capacity analysis within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, revenue cycle management, and cost analysis in alignment with internationally accepted accounting standards and governmental regulations.

This role demands a proactive professional who can coordinate audit activities, liaise with financial institutions, and generate detailed reports for both internal management and governmental bodies.

Major Responsibilities:

• Reviews all revenues transactions and all accounting entries for daily closing.
  
• Preform (Monthly-Year) end closing process to ensure proper financial statements and supporting documents are prepared in a timely manner.
  
• Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
  
• Reconcile bank statements in cash management and liaise with bank.
  
• Coordinating with Auditors on all Audit activities and fulfilling audit related requirements.
  
• Reviewing and payment of patient refund claims.
  
• Claim and follow the payment of all unauthorized reversal transactions.
  
• Prepare daily and monthly revenues report for ministry of finance.
  
• Prepare monthly revenue reports for PHCC management and other sections.
  
• Assessment of existing operational capacity and utilization of PHCC functional areas.
  
• Analyze capacity utilization patterns and report periodic variance.
  
• Forecast capacity changes and financial/non-financial impact analysis.
  
• The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
  

RequirementsQualification:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
  
• Candidates should possess any one of the professional certificates like CA /ACCA (UK)/ CPA (US), CMA or Post Graduation like MBA (Finance)/ M.com
  

Experience & Knowledge Requirement: 

• Ten or more years of accounting experience, out of which:
  - Three or more years of Revenue cycle management & AR accounting experience
  - Five or more years of Revenue cycle management, AR accounting, Capacity analysis and Costing experience in Qatar
  - Five or more years of accounting experience in Hospital/ Healthcare
  - Three or more years of accounting experience with Governmental health care organization in Qatar or other GCC countries
• Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable, Revenue cycle management & Costing Oracle EBS environment
  
• Proven experience of closing of books of accounts in Accounts Receivable, Revenue cycle management & Costing in Oracle EBS
  
• Experience in working with internationally accepted accounting principles.
  
• Knowledge of Arabic language is added advantage.
  

Skills Requirements:

• Should have worked in a recognized ERP system like Oracle, SAP, etc for a minimum of 5 years.
  
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills
  
• High Level of analytical and problem-solving skillsGood planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
