We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Accountant to join our finance team in 10th of Ramadan City. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs and preparing cost reports to support management in decision-making.

• Collect and analyze data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and maintain cost records.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper costing.
• Participate in month-end closing activities and support the finance team with journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Review and audit bill of materials (BOMs) for accuracy.
• Work closely with production and procurement departments to track variances and suggest improvements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost analysis.
• Assist in the implementation of cost accounting systems and internal controls.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Must reside in 10th of Ramadan City or nearby areas.
