Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven experience in Odoo ERP, Egyptian taxation systems, and banking operations. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for monthly payroll closing, attendance tracking, and ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the full accounting cycle using Odoo ERP, including journal entries, ledger posting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and submit all tax declarations (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.) in compliance with the Egyptian tax authority.
• Handle bank transactions, including reconciliations, fund transfers, and coordination with bank representatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and statutory payments.
• Extract and analyze attendance and fingerprint reports from the system to support payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in audits, both internal and external, by providing required documentation and clarification.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4- 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws, electronic invoice systems, and tax portals.
• Proven experience in bank dealings, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Experience in payroll processing, including extraction of attendance/fingerprint data.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
