Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Odoo ERP, a solid understanding of Egyptian tax regulations, and the ability to work with the electronic tax portal. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, assist with tax filings, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain accounting data in Odoo ERP.

• Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.).

• Handle tasks related to the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoice portal, ensuring proper invoice uploads and compliance.

• Support monthly bank reconciliations and maintain transaction records.

• Organize and archive financial documents and invoices.

• Prepare periodic financial and tax reports for review by senior accountants.

• Coordinate with other departments to gather required financial data.

• Stay up to date with changes in local tax laws and e-invoicing requirements.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of accounting experience.

• Practical experience using Odoo ERP is required.

• Familiarity with Egyptian tax system and the e-invoice platform (ETA portal).

• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and general computer proficiency.

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Eagerness to learn, with the ability to work under pressure.

• Good communication skills in Arabic; basic English proficiency is a plus.
