About the Company:

Join a well-established leader in Lebanon's FMCG and F&B sector. With a rich 35-year history of importing and distributing high-quality goods, our company is a key player in the wholesale market. We are based in the vibrant heart of Hamra, Beirut, and are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our finance team.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and assist in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with Lebanese regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions and daily bookkeeping.

Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.

Conduct regular bank and cash reconciliations.

Prepare and process payroll and ensure compliance with NSSF regulations.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).

Prepare and file VAT declarations and other tax-related documents.

Liaise with the external auditor during the annual audit.

Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as an accountant.

Experience in the FMCG, distribution, or import/export industry is a strong plus.

Solid understanding of Lebanese accounting principles and tax regulations.

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Fluency in Arabic and English.
