Job Description

• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international tax regulations.
• Analyze financial statements and accounting records to determine tax liabilities and identify potential tax savings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on their potential impact on business operations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and minimize risks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records, files, and supporting documentation for all tax-related activities.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax compliance in all business transactions.
• Support the development and implementation of internal controls and best practices related to tax processes.
• Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on tax compliance and reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or a related field.
• Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing tax returns for corporate entities.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, export-oriented manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex tax legislation and communicate implications to management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
