Job Description

• Prepare, analyze, and report on cost accounting data to support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure accurate allocation of costs to products and projects.
• Monitor and review inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, investigating discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and finance teams to optimize cost structures and improve profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans related to cost management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing detailed cost information and documentation.
• Continuously review and enhance costing processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in cost accounting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
