Job Description

• Prepare monthly GL activities, journals, and accruals, perform balance sheet reconciliation and analytical reviews.
• Participate to the monthly, quarterly, and yearly IFRS close process.
• Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange.
• Provide appropriate accounting information to customers when needed.
• Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
• Analyze and perform foreign currency exchanges.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accounts.
• Review financial reports to identify and explain variances.
• Follow documentation retention policy to maintain accounting files.
• Prepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issues.
• Perform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposes.
• Assist with Statutory Financial Statements preparation as well as direct tax filings and underlying information for VAT returns payment and filing.
• Active support in internal and external audit activities and help with timely remediation of any findings or follow up items.
• Ensure compliance with the company policies and other control procedures.
• Perform ad hoc cross functional projects as requested.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational environment with at least 2 years in similar role.
• Good knowledge of Saudi Arabia statutory requirements and IFRS/SOCPA as well as direct and indirect tax
• Experience working in a Trading.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong general understanding of ERP systems required
• Must be able to meet the deadline for month-end close and year-end close.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Driven, able to work independently in an efficient manner and keen to take on new responsibilities
• Pro-active, team player oriented, reliable, and hands-on approach
• Willingness and ability to recognize and adapt to changing business requirements
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both verbal and written

Education

• Bachelor of Accounting degree or equivalent required.
