Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledgers, and financial statements.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Auditing: Conducting audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely tax filings and payments.
- Reporting: Preparing financial reports for management review and external stakeholders.
- Reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial data.
- Payroll Management: Processing payroll and managing employee expenses.
- Intercompany Transactions: Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and managing the company's cash flow.
المهارات
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or CMA (preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- UAE Experience:
Many positions in Dubai require experience working in the UAE, including familiarity with UAE VAT and WPS (Wage Protection System).
Proficiency in English & Arabic are essential, and knowledge of other languages may be an advantage.
Understanding of UAE laws and regulations related to accounting and finance is crucial.
