About the company:

ADI is a retail company based in Saida-Lebanon, that operates in “Food and Beverage” by offering a handpicked selection of snacks, drinks, groceries and everyday essentials, with high quality standards.

Job Purpose:

The ‘’ Junior Accountant” is responsible to support the accounting department by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This includes tasks like data entry, maintaining financial records, assisting with financial reporting, reconciling bank statements, and managing accounts payables and receivables.

Responsibilities:

- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

- Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices.

- Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations.

- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.

- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.

- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.

- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.

- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

- Assist with other accounting projects as assigned by the Management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing, Finance, or any relevant field.

- 0-2 years of experience in accounting.

- Excellent organizing abilities.

- Great attention to detail.

- Good with numbers and figures.

- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
