The Finance Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing the financial operations of Advario Oman. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, managing budgets, optimizing cash flow, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. The Finance Manager will drive financial discipline, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks, and contribute to the company’s growth and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning & Reporting
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Review financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes across departments.
Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and alignment with accounting standards (IFRS/IAS).
2. Operational Finance & Internal Controls
Supervise the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking.
Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity positions, and implement improvements as needed.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
3. Strategic & Business Partnering
Act as a financial advisor to the General Manager and department managers on key decisions.
Support investment evaluations, business cases, and performance improvement projects.
Contribute to strategic planning by providing data-driven insights and financial scenarios.
Engage with commercial and operations teams to align financial and operational goals.
4. Governance, Compliance & Risk
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and Advario Group policies.
Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for financial and operational risks.
Support contract reviews and large procurement negotiations from a financial perspective.
Champion ethics and compliance within the Finance function.
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the finance function.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Proven experience in budgeting, financial modeling, and strategic business partnering
