JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/ Objective

Responsible about all settlement, charges and issues that relates to the merchant. Oversee transaction fee related to any new application and issuing setup fee invoices, in addition to checking partner agreements and pay them the commission. Reconciling merchant related payments and ensure the accuracy of the payments.

Essential Functions

1. Prepare journal entries for accounts payable, accrued expenses, various expense accounts, and other required allocations.
2. Assist in handling and monitoring GL accounts, receivables and staff accounts (loans & advances - mobiles - corporate credit cards - travel expense -checks).
3. Responsible for the reconciliation of all accounts (debtors - creditors - suppliers -clearing acc. - affiliated companies- etc.) and for verifying balances in various accounting systems.
4. Handle day-to-day assigned tasks for E-Payment Operations (cash inflow, outflow, errors, bank reconciliations, etc.)
5. Reports:
   1. Assist in the preparation of month year-end accounting reports, adjusting entries, etc.
   2. Prepare reports and all the necessary requirements for governmental, regulatory and tax authorities e.g. SCA, government ministries, markets, etc.
6. Maintain the department records, filing and supporting documents for the handled entries.
7. Ensure all reporting complies with the firm's policies and procedures.
8. assist in preparation of all Docs and Requirements requested by External and Internal Auditors.
9. Performs other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Competencies

1. +3 years of experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
2. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and Finance Software (xero) and (Tax E-Portal).
3. Good knowledge of corporate financial law.
4. Hands-on experience with financial management software.
5. Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
6. Excellent mathematical, communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Problem solver and critical thinker mindset.
