Support the financial health of the company through accurate bookkeeping, timely reporting, and coordination of all financial transactions. Ensure compliance with Syria laws and international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage payables, receivables, general ledgers, and bank reconciliations.

Handle payroll, statutory deductions, and timely salary disbursements.

Process, expense reports, and cost allocations.

Liaise with banks, auditors, and external consultants as required.

Maintain a digital filing system for easy retrieval of records during audits.

Use ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books and Alameen) to ensure real-time accuracy.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.

Experience: Minimum tow years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or NGO setting.

Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

Technical Skills:

Proficient in ERP or accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, and Alameen.

Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling).

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of Syrian tax laws, labor laws, and compliance regulations.

Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or other international accounting standards.

Specific Vacancy Requirements

Proven ability to manage payables, receivables, general ledgers, and bank reconciliations independently.

Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and statutory deductions.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a digital filing system for audit readiness.

Experience in preparing timely and accurate financial reports for management and external stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with banks, auditors, and external consultants.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
