Job Description

 Job Purpose
LSEgypt is seeking a Project Cost Accountant to monitor and control project-related costs, ensure budgets are met, and provide accurate financial insights that improve cost efficiency and support strategic business decisions.

???? Main Responsibilities

-Monitor all project-related income and expenses

-Prepare detailed cost analysis reports for ongoing projects

-Reconcile supplier and subcontractor invoices with purchase orders and contracts

-Track fleet operational costs, fuel usage, and maintenance expenses

-Review contracts and monitor budget allocations for each project phase

-Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare monthly journal entries

-Manage supplier payments and ensure timely settlements

-Calculate payroll for temporary/irregular labor

-Review and validate measurement sheets and quantity surveys before invoicing

-Prepare cost reports, petty cash reports, and driver/transport expense reports

Job Requirements

Qualifications:-

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

-2:4 years’ experience in cost control (construction/contracting preferred)

-Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
