Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor and manage cash flow and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with international shipping and tax regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making
• Process invoices, billing related to shipping operations
• Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and logistics teams regarding financial matters
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years in the shipping/maritime industry
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation, freight charges, demurrage, and customs duties
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Supportive and collaborative work environment
