The Accountant role in a Dubai-based insurance brokerage is a critical position that focuses on diligently undertaking various tasks in financial operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering precise financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, particularly within the insurance sector, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities will include bookkeeping, financial analysis, and the preparation of reports that inform business decisions. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update comprehensive financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.

4. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to guide company strategy.
6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the timely filing of tax returns.
7. Collaborate with internal departments to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
8. Perform reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to maintain accuracy.
9. Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
10. Continuously seek to improve accounting processes and systems for enhanced efficiency.
