Job Title: Accountant

Job Type: Full-time

Location: UAE

About Us:

We are a fashion boutique/fashion brand based in the UAE, seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Accountant to maintain our financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including income, expenditure, assets, liabilities, and equity

- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT and tax laws

- Manage and reconcile accounts, including bank statements and ledgers

- Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents to relevant authorities

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions

- Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA, CMA, or CA

- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, including VAT and tax laws

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the retail or fashion industry

- Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting
