Job Description

• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations, supplier/vendor reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Generate accurate financial reports directly from the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Monitor and control the farm’s financial transactions, including agricultural operations, livestock farming, feed purchases, veterinary expenses, and sales of farm products.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and archiving of all financial records.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in agriculture, livestock farming, or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (experience with ERPNext / Odoo / SAP / Oracle] is a must
• Solid understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and IFRS.
• High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
