About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function for a group of companies. The Chief Accountant will oversee all financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage accounting teams, and provide insights to support the group’s financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting operations across all group entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group.
• Ensure intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and adjustments are accurately performed.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and high performance.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures across all companies.
• Manage statutory compliance, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Identify process improvements, streamline accounting operations, and enhance reporting efficiency.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and adherence to corporate governance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in multi-entity or group accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and consolidated financial reporting.
• Proven experience in leading accounting teams and managing multi-company operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
