Job Description

• Develop and maintain accurate costing systems for all manufacturing processes and products.
• Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability to provide actionable insights to management.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Monitor and control inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of cost records and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement across the manufacturing operations.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing reliable cost data and analysis.
• Assist in the implementation of new costing methodologies and ERP system enhancements.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on cost accounting principles and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost accounting, within a manufacturing environment is a must.
• IFRS certification is a plus  
• Cairo and East Cairo residents is a must
• Proven track record in developing and managing costing systems for large-scale operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for reporting to executive management.
• Solid understanding of inventory management and cost control principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
