Job Title: Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in Dubai

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and

support compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations

in compliance with UAE laws and IFRS standards.

● Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely

payments and collections.

● Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and assist in budgeting and

forecasting.

● Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and

timely.

● Liaise with external auditors and support internal audit activities as required.

● Ensure compliance with VAT and other tax regulations; prepare and submit VAT returns

accurately and on time.

● Monitor and control company expenses to adhere to budgets and financial policies.● Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve

efficiency.

● Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements as needed.

● Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring ongoing

compliance.

Reporting:

Reports to the Finance Manager or Finance Director.

المهارات

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

● 3–5 years of proven accounting experience in Dubai or the UAE region.

● Candidate must be of Chinese nationality or fluent in Chinese.

● Candidate must be currently located in the UAE.

● Fluency in English is mandatory.

● Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and IFRS.

● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office

(Excel, Word).

● Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

● Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

● Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
