Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier to join our supermarket team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately, while delivering exceptional service that enhances the shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with checkout procedures
- Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Scan items, ensure pricing accuracy, and bag groceries
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve minor complaints
- Monitor cash drawer and report discrepancies
- Support inventory restocking and front-end merchandising when required
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and maintain smooth operations
