Assistant Manager – Finance
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Contract Type: Full-time

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee freight accounting and financial operations within our logistics business. This role is responsible for accurate reporting, internal controls, and financial performance monitoring while leading a team to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee freight accounting and revenue review processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

  
  

• Prepare and present freight-related accounting and management reports.

  
  

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational and financial performance.

  
  

• Review freight payables and ensure robust internal controls are in place.

  
  

• Manage vendor relationships related to freight services.

  
  

• Review the monthly trial balance to ensure accuracy of freight-related accounts.

  
  

• Oversee cash management and ensure compliance with financial policies.

  
  

• Lead, mentor, and develop the freight accounts team to maintain high standards of operational excellence.

  
  

• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by senior management.

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  
  

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a freight or logistics environment at a managerial level.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

  
  

• Proven leadership and team management skills.

  
  

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational abilities.

  
  

• Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
