DUBIMED Medical Supplies - Qatar Branch is expanding, and we are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Day-to-Day Accounting
• Record daily financial transactions (sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts & payments).
• Prepare and post journal entries, vouchers, and adjustments.
• Reconcile supplier/customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Handle petty cash and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
2. Cheque Collection & Deliveries
• Collect cheques from customers and ensure timely deposit in bank.
• Maintain proper records of cheque receipts and deliveries with acknowledgment.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies for handling payments.
3. Schedules & Reporting
• Maintain schedules for accounts receivable, prepayments, advances, and deposits.
• Monitor aging reports and coordinate with sales/admin teams for collections.
• Support in preparing schedules for auditors and management review.
• Assist in tracking due dates of payments and ensuring timely settlements.
4. General Support
• Coordinate with banks for deposits, transfers, and other related matters.
• Support external/internal auditors with required documentation.
• Ensure proper filing of all financial records for easy retrieval.
• Liaise with internal departments (sales, logistics, procurement) to ensure smooth financial
operations.
RequirementsKey Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Good MS Excel and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle cheque collection and delivery responsibly and confidentially.
• Communication and coordination skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in aesthetics/Healthcare trading company.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT compliance.
• Valid driving license (preferred, for cheque collection/delivery responsibilities).
