Job Description:

Gulf Oryx Fencing Fixing LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience within the UAE and a solid understanding of VAT and other legal matters as per UAE law.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Ensure timely submission and accuracy of VAT returns.
Maintain compliance with UAE tax regulations and legal requirements.
Prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial procedures.
Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software Peachtree and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
