Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a detail-driven Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Cairo. If you're passionate about cost control, inventory valuation, and driving operational efficiency, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of cost accounting, including cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost allocation.

  
  

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting reports with precision and insight.

  
  

• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost control procedures and best practices.

  
  

• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

  
  

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities with detailed cost projections and recommendations.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.

  
  

• Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.

  
  

• Assist in financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.

  
  

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, work-in-progress, and finished goods, ensuring proper valuation and reconciliation.

  
  

• Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.

  
  

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field (CMA)

  
  

• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.

  
  

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP or SAP systems and Excel.

  
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  
  

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
