Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented “Senior Accountant” with 2 to 3 years of experience to support the daily operations of our finance department. This role is ideal for someone who has experience with accounting standards, VAT returns, ZAKAT calculations and regulatory compliance. The candidate will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and assisting with audits and other financial operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
• Record and maintain financial data in the ERP system (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus).
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Participate in audit preparation and respond to audit-related requests.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Support ZAKAT calculations and coordinate with external advisors when necessary.
• Handle communications and submissions with ZATCA.
• Manage and resolve regulatory compliance issues, including liaising with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for required filings.
• Assist with Local Content data gathering and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with third-party platforms such as TABBY and Tamara on financial matters.
• Assist the accounting and finance team with various accounting and finance activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with VAT, ZAKAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) is a big plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
• Proficient in written and spoken English
