Job Description
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Prepare VAT, income tax, and other statutory reports/filings.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and support treasury activities.
- Assist management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a general Accountant
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks is a must
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and within
