We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with a solid background in financial management within the Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Oil & Gas, Electromechanical, and Power sectors. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years in a similar position and demonstrate strong expertise in O&M contract procedures, billing processes, local content requirements, IKTVA compliance, and VAT regulations. The role is central to ensuring robust financial controls, compliance, and support for project operations.

• Manage the complete accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with local statutory requirements, including VAT, Withholding Tax, PAYE, and IKTVA
• Maintain full oversight of O&M contract procedures, including billing schedules, milestone invoicing, variation orders, and cost recovery tracking.
• Coordinate closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely billing aligned with contractual obligations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities for multiple projects.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulators on financial matters, including audits, , and contract compliance.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures.
• Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure high-quality financial operations and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of local content compliance, including manpower, procurement, and training-related financial records.
• Support procurement and contract departments with financial input and verification during tendering and execution phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree or CMA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting or finance role within the O&M, Oil & Gas, Electromechanical, or Power sectors.
• Strong understanding of O&M contract frameworks, billing cycles, and cost control mechanisms.
• Proven experience in managing compliance with IKTVA, VAT, and Local Content regulations
• Proficiency in accounting systems such Oracle.
• Sound knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with project-based accounting for service and engineering contracts.
• Strong analytical and financial planning abilities.
• Knowledge of cost tracking related to preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
