Job Description

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations within the manufacturing division, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate and support external audits, providing necessary documentation and resolving audit queries efficiently.
• Manage cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in manufacturing environments.
• Proven expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis within the industrial sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing.
• Experience preparing for and supporting external audits.
• Ability to develop and implement robust internal controls and process improvements.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is highly desirable.
