AGS is Hiring – Cost Accountant

Location: Abu Rawash – Industrial Zone

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday to Thursday)

Experience Required: 2–3 years

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting

About the Role:

AGS is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join its team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and controlling costs to ensure accurate financial reporting and support management in decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze cost data to determine product and service costs.
• Prepare cost reports and analyze variances against budgets.
• Monitor production costs, inventory, and operating expenses.
• Contribute to the preparation and periodic update of standard costs.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and operations teams to track and control expenses.
• Assist in preparing management reports to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2–3 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
