SADCO is a leading pharmaceutical and medical devices distribution company committed to excellence and innovation. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team and contribute to the company’s growth by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the accounting activities of assigned operating entities, ensuring accurate entries and timely financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with company policies, Lebanese Labor Law, and financial regulations.

Perform data entry and manage transactions related to assets, partners, payments, banks, cash, expenses, sales, purchase invoices, etc.

Prepare suppliers and inter-company reconciliations.

Monitor accrued/prepaid expenses and accrued/deferred income accounts.

Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing entries with required provisions.

Verify cheque issuance requests and supporting documents.

Manage petty cash and oversee daily accounting operations.

Handle receivables and payables, including reconciliations and adjustments.

Generate financial reports (VAT, purchases, interest, assets, guarantees, banks, expenses and revenues per cost center, etc.).

Process insurance-related transactions (vehicles, partners, travel, fire, burglary, CIT, WRK, PUB, and medical).

Complete CNSS and payroll-related transactions.

Declare employee income tax and VAT.

Support audits and perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

5–7 years of proven experience in accounting.

Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
