A leading company in Saudi Arabia in NEOM Region is seeking a Chief, Accounting to oversee and manage all accounting operations in the Finance Department. The role will ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, manage accounting teams, and support strategic decision-making through timely financial insights. The Chief will also drive process improvements and maintain high standards of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

المهارات

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting regulations.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
