• Record and monitor all direct and indirect costs related to raw materials (cement, aggregates, additives, fuel, etc.), labor, and equipment.
• Compare actual costs to budgeted/standard costs and report variances.
• Prepare cost analysis reports for management on a regular basis.
• Monitor material usage and reconcile with stock records.
• Work closely with the storekeeper to ensure accurate stock valuation.
• Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts.
• Calculate the cost per cubic meter of ready-mix concrete.
• Allocate plant operating costs, transportation, and overhead across production batches.
• Support pricing decisions with updated cost data
• Assist in preparing budgets and cost forecasts for the plant.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cost reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).Experience from 3-5 years in the same field.Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, or ACCA (preferred but not mandatory).Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or in a similar role.Industry-specific experience (e.g., manufacturing, contracting, or construction) is a strong plus.Familiarity with cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, standards, and financial regulations.Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).Ability to prepare cost sheets, job costing, and project profitability reports.Strong analytical and numerical abilities.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.Budget preparation and cost control monitoring.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong organizational and time-management skills.
