Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the restaurant’s daily financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records, and supporting management with timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.
• Handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Monitor and reconcile cash, bank, and POS transactions daily.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cost control reports for food and beverage items.
• Prepare payroll, gratuities, and employee expense reports accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and submit VAT/tax filings as required.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for improving profitability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
