AccountantJob Location : KuwaitResponsibilities :

• Assist in daily accounting operations and transaction postings in Xero.
• Reconcile bank accounts, settlement accounts, collection accounts, and safeguarding accounts.
• Prepare CBK-compliant financial reports and internal management reports.
• Handle accounting entries related to Visa, KNET, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and merchant settlements.
• Support with audits, compliance, and financial statements under IFRS.
• Monitor expenses, supplier payments, and staff reimbursements.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of experience (Fintech, Banking, or Payments preferred).
• Strong knowledge of reconciliation and accounting controls.
• Good understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Xero is a plus).
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
